The Short Version

Integrity Acquisitions is a search fund — one person raising capital to acquire and personally operate one established business in the Omaha metro area.

We are not a private equity fund, a holding company, or a brokerage. We are the actual buyer and the future operator.

Background

Our principal, Daniel Jahn, brings a career built across public accounting, corporate finance, and hands-on operational leadership:

  • KPMG — Public accounting and audit
  • Cargill — Corporate finance and strategy at one of the largest private companies in the world
  • Operational leadership — Direct P&L responsibility in commercial construction and manufacturing

Daniel holds an active CPA license in Nebraska. That combination of financial rigor and real-world operating experience is central to how we evaluate businesses and how we plan to run one.

Why a Search Fund

The search fund model exists because there’s a gap in the market. Many established businesses in the $5–20M revenue range don’t fit neatly into what private equity firms are looking for. They’re too large for most individual buyers, too small for institutional funds, and too valuable to be absorbed into a strategic acquirer and lose their identity.

A search fund puts an experienced operator — not a deal team, not a board of directors — at the helm. The incentives are straightforward: find a business worth committing to, acquire it, and spend years making it better.

Why “Integrity”

We chose the name deliberately. It reflects three commitments we hold ourselves to:

Integrity in the process. We are transparent about who we are, how we’re funded, and what we’re looking for. There are no hidden investors pulling strings, no bait-and-switch after a letter of intent. Sellers will always know exactly who they’re dealing with.

Integrity in the transition. We respect the culture, the customer relationships, and the reputation you’ve spent years building. These aren’t line items to optimize. They are the business. Our job is to protect and strengthen them.

Integrity in the long term. We don’t structure deals to engineer a quick exit. We structure them to build a business that operates well for decades. Our investors are aligned with this timeline, and so are we.

What We Believe

Ownership transitions don’t have to be disruptive. When the right buyer takes over with the right intentions and the right experience, the business gets stronger — not weaker.

That’s the outcome we’re working toward.
